Gloucester level 2 report

Gloucester level 2 open meet
GL1 Leisure Centre

14th-16th October

With a great performance in the first gala of the season the Soundwell swimmers continued their run of good form into the Gloucester level 2 meet. The personal best times came in one after another as each swimmer performed at their best.
The top points scorer of the meet went to Jake Turner with a 100% PB rate from 8 events. A special mention should also go out to Jack Smith who achieved a ASA Winter National time in the 200 backstroke. Many swimmers also achieved Regional short course qualification times or bettered their previous entry time for the meet.
A big thank you must also go out to all of the volunteers, officals and poolside helpers who gave up their time to allow our swimmers to compete this weekend.
With many important galas and training sessions between now and Christmas we must keep the momentum  going both in and out of the pool. With hard work and team spirit we can achieve great things!!.
